Hindu Calculators & Panchang Tools
Every calculator here computes from real planetary positions and tells you how. You get the ayanamsa it used, the sunrise definition it applied, the ephemeris behind it, and a plain explanation of why another site may show you something different.
26 of 26 are live. The rest are listed with what they will do and what still has to be built first. Nothing here links to a page that does not exist — a promise this site previously broke, and does not intend to again.
No tool on this site will tell you whether a day will go well, predict health, fertility, lifespan or money, or sell you a remedy for anything it reports.
Panchang & Calendar
The daily reckoning — tithi, nakshatra, festival dates and the conversions between Hindu and Gregorian time.
Daily Panchang
Tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana and vara for any date and city, with sunrise, sunset, Rahu Kaal and Abhijit muhurta — and the ayanamsa and sunrise rule that produced them.
Open the tool →Hindu Festival & Vrat Calendar
Festival and vrat dates for a year, each showing which vyapti rule fixed it — and what the sunrise tithi alone would have given.
Open the tool →Ekadashi & Fasting Days
Every Ekadashi in a year with parana windows — including the ones where smarta and vaishnava observance fall on different days, and the ones the tithi skips entirely.
Open the tool →Hindu Date Converter
Any Gregorian date to its tithi, paksha, masa and samvat — and back, including the tithis that have no Gregorian date and the ones that have two.
Open the tool →Tithi Anniversary & Shraddha
The Gregorian date each year on which a tithi recurs — for birthdays kept by tithi and for the annual shraddha, with the years it has no date at all.
Open the tool →Grahan — Eclipse Timings
Solar and lunar eclipse circumstances for a place, with sutak windows gated on whether the eclipse is actually visible there.
Open the tool →Sankranti Calculator
Solar ingress into each rashi, the punya kala around it, and why the date drifts against the Gregorian calendar.
Open the tool →Birth Chart
Charts and periods computed from a birth moment, with the ayanamsa and the birth-time sensitivity stated.
Kundli — Birth Chart
The D1 rashi chart: ascendant, all nine grahas by sign and house, in both North and South Indian layouts.
Open the tool →Nakshatra & Rashi Finder
Birth star, pada and moon sign from a date — and a plain answer about how much a missing birth time actually costs you.
Open the tool →Lagna (Ascendant) Calculator
The rising sign for a birth moment, with how far the ascendant moves for each minute of uncertainty in the time.
Open the tool →Vimshottari Dasha
The 120-year period cycle with the balance at birth, computed from the Moon's exact position in its nakshatra.
Open the tool →Navamsa (D9) Chart
The ninth divisional chart, with vargottama placements marked and cross-referenced against the D1.
Open the tool →Grah Gochar — Transits
Where the planets are now, when each next changes sign, and which are retrograde.
Open the tool →Ashtakavarga
Bhinnashtakavarga and Sarvashtakavarga bindu tables, computed from the Parashari rules rather than quoted.
Open the tool →Matching & Dosha
The classical tests, shown as arithmetic with their cancellation conditions — no verdicts, no remedies, nothing to buy.
Kundali Milan — Guna Milan
The eight koota scores shown one by one with what each actually measures. No total verdict, no traffic light, no percentage.
Deliberately ships without an aggregate score — see the page for why.
Open the tool →Mangal Dosha (Manglik)
Whether Mars sits in the houses each tradition counts, how common that is, and every cancellation condition at equal weight.
Open the tool →Kaal Sarp — Rahu-Ketu Axis
Whether all seven grahas fall on one side of the nodal axis — and the base rate, so the answer has a denominator.
Open the tool →Sade Sati & Shani Transit
Saturn's passage over the three signs around your moon sign, as a lifetime timeline rather than a warning.
Open the tool →Muhurta & Timing
Which parts of a day the tradition marks, how those windows are constructed, and what they do and do not claim.
Rahu Kaal Today
Today's Rahu Kaal, Gulika and Yamaganda for your city — one number, plus what the construction actually is.
Open the tool →Choghadiya
The eight day and eight night windows, derived from the weekday lord rather than copied, with each one marked where Rahu Kaal, Gulika or Yamaganda cancels it.
Open the tool →Shubh Muhurat Finder
Dates the tradition marks as suitable for marriage, griha pravesh, naming and mundan, with the rule behind each.
Open the tool →Tarabala & Chandrabala
How today's nakshatra and moon sign stand relative to your own birth star — a day-strength check, not a forecast.
Open the tool →Bhadra (Vishti Karana)
When Vishti karana runs, and which of the three worlds tradition places it in at that moment.
Open the tool →Panchak
The five-nakshatra band, with the northern and southern reckonings shown side by side because they disagree.
Open the tool →Name & Number
Naming syllables from the birth nakshatra, and number systems — each labelled with how much astronomy is actually behind it.
Baby Name by Nakshatra
The naming syllables assigned to each nakshatra pada, and names that begin with them.
Open the tool →Numerology Calculator
Chaldean and Pythagorean numbers from a name and date — with the plain note that this one has no astronomy behind it at all.
Open the tool →How these differ from other calculators
Modern ephemerides agree on where the Sun and Moon are to a fraction of an arcsecond. When two Hindu calendars disagree, it is almost never the astronomy — it is a convention, and the convention is usually undisclosed.
So every result here carries the ayanamsa it used, the sunrise definition, the resolved time-zone offset for that date, and the Julian Day. Change the ayanamsa on the Panchang and watch the nakshatra move while the tithi stays exactly where it was — that is not a bug, and it is the clearest demonstration of why two panchangs can both be right.
One consequence worth knowing: tithi and karana cannot differ by ayanamsa. They are built from the angle between the Sun and Moon, so the offset cancels. If two panchangs disagree on tithi, the cause is the sunrise rule or the location.
